A hand spliced steel wire rope sling (commonly called a hand-tuck spliced sling) features eye terminations created manually by unlaying the rope strands at the end and weaving (tucking) them back into the main body of the rope. This traditional method forms a permanent, self-Tightening eye termination without using metal sleeves or hydraulic swaging presses.
